... High Wind Warning remains in effect until 2 am EDT Tuesday...
* event... winds of 30 to 45 mph, with gusts of 60 to 70 mph,
will be possible across the higher elevations of the mountains
and adjacent foothills.
* Timing... tonight through Monday night.
* Impacts... the strong winds may down trees and power lines.
Loose outdoor objects should be secured. Motorists should use
extra caution when driving across the higher elevations,
especially if in high profile vehicles.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph and/or
gusts of 58 mph or stronger can be expected at times. Winds of
these magnitudes can cause property damage and power outages.
